Local Health Plans of California (LHPC) is a statewide trade association that represents all of the community-based, not-for-profit health plans that provide access to critical and comprehensive healthcare services for low- income populations enrolled in California’s Medicaid program, Medi-Cal.

Local Health Plans of California's 17 member plans are committed to reinvesting in their communities to improve access to quality healthcare and address social drivers of health. 

Local plans serve 70% of Medi-Cal managed care enrollees statewide and provide care in 51 of 58 California counties
